Auckland is 4th Best City to Live In

Apparently Sydney offers best Australian quality of life but Auckland comes at 4th overall in Mercer’s 2009 Quality of Living Survey. I must say that I do love living in Auckland, I don’t know of any other city that has such an amazing harbour which is so accessible. Sydney has a great harbour but you feel that you can never get away from everybody which is easy in Auckland, just jump on a ferry and you are taken to the numerous islands in the Hauraki Gulf.

Wellington came in 12th overall, above Melbourne (which I’ve always thought of as being more Wellington like) and only just behind Sydney at Number 10 (Our Auckland equivalent?.) So now that we’ve topped the battle of the cities lets try and beat them in a few Trans-Tasman sports competitions this winter!
