Welcome and thanks for finding us!
This blog is a key part of the zoodle site and I hope you will find it a valuable virtual “water cooler” at which to rest a while and converse.
Property holds a fascination with people in this country and naturally there is a mass of diverse opinions on the property market. Whilst this diversity is healthy; good information is the most important thing; and that is the point about zoodle, and that is where this blog can complement the data rich content on this site.
On this blog you will likely find insight and analysis of the market from multiple sources, commentary on the media reporting of the property market as well as insight into the comparable position of overseas property markets.
This blog is written by me in my role as Managing Director of Zoodle – I do wear two hats also being the CEO of realestate.co.nz and author of the Unconditonal blog which will either make me completely schizophrenic or more hopefully a knowledgeable individual in the marketplace – you decide!
In principle the zoodle blog will be more about the market and the trends in the market, whereas Unconditional is more about the real estate industry and the online marketing of real estate. In short, if you want to know more about the market and what buyers and sellers are interested in, then the zoodle blog is for you. If you want to better understand the real estate industry and the process of buying and selling as well as online marketing of real estate then Unconditional is for you. But as you can see there is no absolute clear demarcation line – so my advice set up an RSS feed for both – because one thing is for certain – I won’t duplicate content

This has to be the best property information service available. So neatly presented, easy to navigate and once you have opened an account it’s easy to keep track of all your saved properties and purchased reports.
Also great that reports are able to be saved as PDF and emailed to your vendor.
Plenty of information provided in the basic report and great to see the satellite photos.
This will be one very popular site and what a great name – “use your noodle and surf at zoodle”

What a fantastic site – a great effort by all concerned. All the information was available from all different sources and it took ages to get the total picture. With Zoodle it is avalable as easy as easy can be, thanks.

Congratulations Alistair, this is a slick and professional looking site.
I believe at this rate you will eventually achieve top ranking in real estate over Trademe as you are now offering comphrehensive infomation as well as listings, interactive blogs that engage users and you are industry specific. It is really a coming of age for the NZ real estate portals which have been lagging behind the likes of Australia for years now.
I wonder if there may even come a time when the NZ Real Estate agencies pull their support from Trademe in favour of their own industry site.
People rave on about the wonders of Trademe but lt is simply a listing machine that happens to have tons of traffic . It doesn’t give you the information you require and has annoying problems like showing all Studio apartments as 1 Bedrooms.
I like the way you are headed and look forward to further features.
Great site -innovative and just what the Industry needs–well done Alistair–I can see that all your hard work has paid off and not just caused the receeding hair line!!!

I am delighted to work with the team at Netconcepts – they are experts in this area. We have worked together to bring the realestate.co.nz website to the market two and half years ago and now this.
