Zoodle is an online property information website which offers users the ability to search for, keep track of and buy information on properties in New Zealand. Zoodle recognizes that your privacy is important to you and by providing us with personal information you trust that we will take your privacy seriously.
Information Collection
To register for an account we do collect some personal information such as your name and email address. Registration is required to purchase property reports, get notifications and to save a property to My Zoodle. We also collect credit card details to process transactions when buying property reports. This information is not stored.
We also store information on properties you have saved, viewed, purchased reports for and have claimed. We collect this data to provide the My Zoodle functionality.
Information Sharing
Personal Data
We will never supply your personal data to a third party for commercial exploitation unless explicitly authorised by you. We will never sell your name, personal details or email addresses to any third party without express consent from you.
Aggregate Data
We may share aggregate information such as the total number of times a property has been viewed and the most popular suburbs with other parties and on this website to provide a better experience for our users. At no time, however, will we disclose personal information about specific users.
Communications with you
Zoodle will from time to time send you emails for which you have subscribed to. These include:
- Monthly Zoodle email newsletters
- Alerts for houses for which you have asked to informed of changes in status
- Confirmation emails for property reports you have purchased
You may unsubscribe from any alerts and newsletters by clicking on the unsubscribe link in any email or by visiting your account page and updating your preferences.
We fully support the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.
Your Login Information
You are responsible for keeping your user name and password secure. We do not recommend that you share your Zoodle login details with anyone.
Links to Third Party Sites
Our site provides links to other sites such as local councils and directory services. Zoodle recommends that you check the individual privacy policies of those sites before providing personal information to those third party sites.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
From time to time, Zoodle will review and may edit this policy in accordance with potential changes to our business and as required by law. Zoodle reserves the right to change its Privacy Policy at any time.
