About the Meadowbank Community
About Meadowbank:
Meadowbank is an old fashioned suburb, popular with middle to high earning, dual income families. It remains a very affordable area compared to the surrounding suburbs.
Meadowbank is positioned in a fabulous central location, with an easy commute to the city centre, easy access to the Northern and Southern motorways and just around the corner from the stunning bays, St Heliers, Kohimarama and Mission Bay. Executive Remuera is just a hop and a skip down the road too, making you feel as though you’re surrounded by the best – whilst still enjoying a relaxed and casual lifestyle.
There is a strong community atmosphere here, which makes Meadowbank a dream place to raise a family. Parents can rest assured that their children are receiving a fantastic start in their education at the highly regarded Meadowbank and St Thomas’s Primary schools. Meadowbank also has the benefits of being close to the train which offers a low cost and easy commute to the city centre in around ten minutes!
There are many exceptional outdoor recreational areas dotted throughout Meadowbank. Waiatarua reserve is a fantastic place for bird and dog lovers. With native wetlands and huge open spaces it’s a great place to let the family pooch off the leash and a great play ground for the kids.
When that gorgeous Auckland sun is shining, the beautiful bays and their inviting beaches are just a few minutes drive away. Offering some exceptional places to wine and dine, wind down with friends over coffee or just have some fun in the sun. It doesn’t get much better and it’s all at your back door!
Meadowbank Shopping:
The convenient Meadowbank Shopping Mall, offers a great mix of retail and specialty shops and a Foodtown supermarket.
