About One Tree Hill:
One of Auckland's iconic landmarks One Tree Hill gives some of the best views of Auckland and is encircled by beautiful parkland. The surrounding suburbs are well established tree filled and attractive.
The reputable local Primary Schools Royal Oak, Cornwall Park and Intermediate School, Royal Oak make this area a drawcard for young families. Many young professionals are attracted to the area because of its central location.
Established in 1930's One Tree Hill has many period bungalows and villas now on half-size sections.
One Tree Hill Shopping:
Royal Oak is a busy shopping hub. There are a number of cafes and restaurants and Newmarket is less than 10 minutes drive north along Manakau Rd. The areas biggest recreational asset is the 120 hectare Cornwall Park and its One Tree Hill volcanic peak. Cornwall Park has recreational areas, a restaurant, an information centre with a Planetarium on the One Tree Hill side. Alexandra Park and Ellerslie Racecourse are close by as is the ASB Showground.
