About Northcote Point:
Just a hop across the Harbour Bridge is Northcote Point. One of Auckland\'s best secrets. A sleepy character filled suburb with the charm of yesteryear. Good parks, restaurants and cafes, and even a renowned local cinema. Northcote Point has a community creche on its doorstep. Two good primary schools, intermediate and college are within walking distance for many. Probably the best attribute of the area is its proximity to everywhere; minutes to the CBD, Takapuna Beach and the Albany Centre.
Today Northcote Point is very much a \'village\' community and one of the most interesting Heritage areas, with homes ranging from grand villas to modern architecturally designed homes. Many having stunning sea views of the Auckland Harbour and also Auckland city, Little Shoal Bay, and the Upper Harbour.

Northcote Point boasts a fine wine shop called Point Wines, fish & chips at \'Point Taken\', hairdressers, second hand toy shop \'Unlimited Potential\', and award winning restaurant Engine Room. Grab a beer or a coffee at the local Northcote Tavern, and a pizza and sauvignon blanc at Sausalito, next door to the Bridgeway cinema.
Transport:
Approximately 6 minutes to the CBD by ferry situated at the end of Queen Street by Fisherman\'s Wharf. Or grab a Birkenhead Bus which stops at Victoria Park Market before stopping at the city.
