About Halswell:

Halswell is a fast growing suburb, with many new housing developments in the process of completion. It's situated on the South Western edge of Christchurch City, which is only a twenty minute drive away.

It is an ideal suburb for family living, with it's quiet tree lined streets and many parks including Westlake Wildlife Reserve and The Halswell Quarry. It is serviced by Halswell and Oaklands primary schools and has an excellent bus service to High Schools, Canterbury University and Christchurch Polytechs, the CBD and other suburbs. There are also a variety of sports clubs and an excellent outdoor swimming pool.

Halswell has a large variety of shops including supermarkets.
There is also easy access to banks, doctors, dentists and chemists.

Transport:

Halswell has great bus service, just jump on the #7 bus and in 20 mins you're in the City, the Metro bus service also passes through Halswell and will take you in a link around Christchurch City.
