About Belleknowes:
The suburb of Belleknowes lies atop a crest, which forms part of the inner ring of hills around Dunedin. Excellent views of the city and surrounds can be gained from most parts of the suburb and it is within walking distance to the Dunedin Public Hospital, Otago University and Central City Shopping district.
Several of the city's most prestigious school are located close to this suburb being John McGlashan College, Columba College and St Hildas. The primary schools are Kaikorai and Maori Hill.
Sport is also well represented with golf (Belleknowes Golf Course), bowls (Kaikorai Bowling Club), rugby (Kaikorai), soccer (Roslyn Wakari), squash (Otago Squash Rackets Club) and many more.
Belleknowes Shopping:
You have the option of two large shopping centers at Roslyn Village and Mornington. Both Centers have supermarkets, bakeries, chemists, take-aways, doctors, stationery shops, cafes and restaurants and much more.
Transport:
The suburb is well supported with a reliable public transport system. School buses take pupils to their designated schools.
