About Pine Hill:
A middle class housing area, Pine Hill is situated 7-8 minutes drive from the University of Otago, Hospital and city centre. Established in the 1950s with predominantly government housing, there were further development in the 70s and 80s. The suburb has great rural and city views and gets great sun. A friendly community with local schools and play centres close by.
Pine Hill Shopping:
Locally, there is a dairy open daily for all your necessities, and a hairdresser. From Pine Hill is only 5 minute drive down the hill to the Gardens supermarket, pharmacy etc.
Transport:
There is a regular bus service to the High Schools, surrounding suburbs and City Centre. If you wish to walk it is only a short 20 minute walk to the City Centre.
