About Paraparaumu:
There are many things to keep the teens busy in Paraparaumu; paint ball, a youth centre, sports, bowling alley, regular trains into town. Paraparaumu is central to the vistas and activities of the entire Kapiti Coast, and because each Kapiti town is different, you can do something different with the family, or on your own, every weekend.
Lindale provides hours of entertainment for the grandchildren, with farm walks, a woodturning workshop, a candy shop, and everything you could ever want to know about honey.
Many people open their first business here, preferring to leave their nine to five jobs elsewhere, and start fresh. The local business network is very supportive. Opposite the Caltex service station you can buy spray free berries grown right there!
Paraparaumu Shopping:
You can park in Coastlands Mall and do almost everything you need to do. You could have lunch at the new Mediterranian Food Warehouse, buy a friend a gift, and then pay car registration on the way out – all between appointments - its easy. Love or hate malls, this one is pretty good.
Transport:
Soon the airport will be redeveloped to include national flight options.
Eating Out:
The weekend markets have some stunning local produce.
